My name is Arielle, and I’m a 27-year-old new-ish mom who has been on a journey to rediscover herself through creativity.

I had my daughter 18 months ago, and one of the biggest and most unexpected parts of motherhood was just how isolating it can feel. In the thick of the newborn phase—while navigating the emotional ups and downs that come with postpartum life—I often felt like I had lost my sense of identity. Somewhere between the sleepless nights and constant care, I struggled to recognize who I was outside of being a mom.

Last November, I found sourdough baking, and it quickly became so much more than just a hobby. What started as a simple loaf turned into a deep love for creating things from scratch. Since then, my passion for cooking, baking, and crafting at home has grown into something that brings me comfort, confidence, and joy.

Through this love of making things with my hands, I’ve found pieces of myself again. My hope is to share the recipes, projects, and simple joys that helped me through loneliness and postpartum depression, in the hopes that they bring the same sense of happiness and connection to others.
